Various Vehicles Campus Access
Dear Residents,
The following is information on how to get your private car and other vehicles to enter campus:
Private car.
If you want to enter and park your private car on campus, you need to purchase a parking ticket. For townhouse residents, one parking slot is free. Parking fares and relevant procedures are available at parking@nu.edu.kz.
Official taxi and delivery.
Official taxis and official delivery may enter the campus without an access request, but they have to have an official mobile app or invoice.
Private taxi (pick up/drop off only).
Regular private taxis (like transportation to school or workplaces) may enter the campus without an access request or without purchasing a parking ticket. Allowed time for staying on campus is no longer than 15-30 minutes. For registration of this type of vehicle, please send the following information to parking@nu.edu.kz:
describe the purpose of the regular visit, specify the access period, and attach copies of the driver’s license and the vehicle’s technical passport.
Vehicles of the household employees (nannies, cleaners, teachers, medical assistants,
etc.).
Regular household employees may enter the campus without an access request or without
purchasing a parking ticket. For registration of this type of vehicle, please send the following information toparking@nu.edu.kz:
describe the role of the employee and the purpose of the regular visit, specify the access period, and attach copies of the driver’s license and the vehicle’s technical passport.
Guests.
Your private guests may enter campus by vehicle upon submitting a standard access request to
security@nu.edu.kz. Please indicate the following information about your guest: name, date of visit, and car plate number. If you accompany your guest, then it is not necessary to send an access request in advance.
